Despite a slow start and no Stephen Curry (ankle) or Andrew Wiggins (back), Golden State convincingly beat the Pelicans, 124-106 to cap off Tuesday’s action.
Buddy Hield sinks his seventh triple of the game for 28 points, with 19 coming in the fourth quarter. The Warriors now have a 17-point lead with only seconds remaining in the contest.
Kuminga picks up the ball on a deflection and flashes a reverse dunk, further building the Warriors’ lead as they continue to dominate the second half against the Pelicans.
Hield is 5-9 from three and now has 19 points on the evening as the Warriors have built a 99-88 lead over the Pelicans with seven minutes left to go in the game.
Lindy Waters III nails the triple to give the Warriors a 69-67 lead almost halfway through the third quarter.
Waters started the second half in place of Buddy Hield and has been a spark plug for Golden State. The 27-year-old has 17 points (6-10 FG, 3-5 3Pt) and grabbed seven rebounds.
The Kings defeated the Jazz 113-96, as their entire starting five scored in double figures. Domantas Sabonis with 28 points on 13-for-18 shooting and 11 rebounds, while DeMar DeRozan chipped in 20 points (9-14 FG) and eight assists. Jordan Clarkson led all Jazz scorers with 21 points (8-16 FG), while Kyle Filipowski added 18 and 12 rebounds off the bench in the rookie’s first extended action of the season.
New Orleans got off to a fast start but were outscored 33-20 in the second quarter. Currently, the Pelicans lead 51-47 off the work of Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram, who have 19 and 15 points respectively. Jonathan Kuminga leads the way for the Warriors with 10 points off the bench.
De’Aaron Fox picked up his first steal of the game and is now second on the all-time steals list in the Sacramento era of the franchise with 671. He trails only Doug Christie who accumulated 717. Sam Lacey officially leads the way in Kings history with 950 from when the team was rooted in Kansas City.
Yves Miss denies Jonathan Kuminga in the paint for his first block of the game and eighth on the season. The rookie out of Baylor is already proving to be a formidable rim protector for the Pelicans.

The Nuggets ultimately got the win in Brooklyn on Tuesday, outscoring the Nets 144-139. Nikola Jokić had a historic performance, joining Oscar Robertson as the only other NBA player to record at least 29 points, 18 rebounds and 16 assists in a game.

The Timberwolves came up short, falling 120-114 to the Mavericks on Tuesday night, despite Anthony Edwards’ blistering start and scoring 24 in the first quarter. The 23-year-old led all scorers with 37 points but may have been outdone by Kyrie Irving, who scored 25 of his own in the second half, finishing with 35 points on 13-23 shooting and 6-8 from three. Luka Dončić fell just shy of a triple-double, with eight rebounds and nine assists to go with 24 points.

Collins spins and gets the easy dunk on his way to 11 points off the bench, which leads all scorers early in the second quarter. The Jazz currently trail the Kings 46-35.

He’s followed closely by Cam Johnson, who has 15 points on 5-5 shooting from three. Meanwhile, Jamal Murray is pacing the Nuggets with 13 points on 4-for-11 shooting. Nikola Jokić is also firmly on triple-double watch with 10 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists.
The Mavericks lead 61-59 at halftime against the Timberwolves. Anthony Edwards cooled off in the second quarter and remains stuck on 24 points, which still leads all scorers. Julius Randle has also chipped in 12 points, including shooting 3-3 from deep and adding five assists and five rebounds. Dallas has four men scoring in double figures, Luka Dončić (13), P.J. Washington (12), Kyrie Irving (10), and Daniel Gafford (10).
Ziaire Williams has put together a stellar performance off the bench thus far in just 11 minutes on the court. He’s already tied Dennis Schröder with 13 points to lead all scorers and has also chipped in two dimes, a block and a rebound in aiding the Nets to a 58-50 lead late in the first half.
