Description
Here is a beautiful brown sweater featuring five colorful vintage patches with a youth bowling league theme. This is a 100% virgin Orlon acrylic cardigan made by Towncraft. It is labeled as a size 14-16. This is a children's 14 to 16, not an adult size. However, a slender teenage girl or a grown woman could wear it because the fabric is stretchy and this fits like a junior's extra-small or small size. The five patches say YBA League High Game, YBA League High Series, Oregon Youth Bowling Association BPAA, Member AJBC American Junior Bowling Congress, AJBC I Beat My Coach
The sweater is in great condition overall, with just a couple of minor issues. First, it has two loops at the waist where a belt used to be. The belt is gone now, so you could supply your own belt in a matching brown fabric, or you could just wear the sweater without the belt. The other issue is that the buttons feel like they're loosely attached. You may want to re-sew the buttons to keep them in place.
The model in the photos is 5'7" and 118 pounds, but because the acrylic is stretchy, the cardigan can accommodate someone a little larger than that if it's unbuttoned. Refer to the measurements below so you can get a more precise idea of how the cardigan may fit.
When the cardigan is buttoned and neatly laid out on a flat surface, these are the measurements:
Distance between the shoulder seams: 14 inches
Distance from one armpit to the other: 15 inches
Distance between the two belt loops: 13 inches
Distance across the bottom edge of the cardigan: 11.5 inches
Length from the base of the collar down the center of the back: 25 inches.
Distance from the shoulder seam to the cuff (top sleeve): 22 inches Distance from the armpit to the cuff (bottom sleeve): 18 inches
