    1.American Airlines
    American Airlines was started in 1930 via a union of more than eighty small airlines who had been in business since the 1920's. It is now a major American airline headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, within the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
    2. American Airlines Ford Tri-Motor
    The Ford Trimotor is an American three-engined transport aircraft. Production started in 1925 by the companies of Henry Ford and ended on June 7, 1933.
    3. United Airlines
    United traces its roots to Varney Air Lines (VAL), which Walter Varney founded in 1926 in Boise, Idaho.
    VAL flew the first privately contracted air mail flight in the U.S. on April 6, 1926.
    United Airlines, Inc. is a major American airline headquartered at Willis Tower in Chicago, Illinois.
    4. ATA
    - Defunct American Trans Airlines - Blue & Gold
    ATA was established in February 1973 as Ambassadair travel club. Its first aircraft was a Boeing 720 named "Miss Indy", with a second Boeing 720 ("Spirit of Indiana") added in 1978. The airlines was in service until 2008. They flew Boeing 737, Boeing 757 and McDonnell Douglas DC-10.
    5. Ozark - Big on Texas
    Ozark Air Lines operated in the United States from 1950 until 1986 when it was purchased by Trans World Airlines. In 2001 TWA was merged into American Airlines. A smaller regional airline that used the Ozark name operated in 2000–2001.
    6. Western Airlines - Fifty Fair Celebrating Fifty Flying Years (1975)
    Under a variety of names and mergers Western Airlines operated between 1925 to 1987 when it merged with Delta Air Lines.
