・Shihan-mato Kyudo is the small-scale Kyudo that has been played originally in Miyazaki Prefecture
for more than 450 years.
・Distance from the shooting position to a target is about 8.2m. The object of the game is to score
by hitting the 13cm target with a 1.6m bow and arrows.
・It is a big feature that Shihan-mato Kyudo is played by using the longer arrow and shorter bow than
normal Kyudo, and performed in seiza (shitting straight) on the tatami-mat.
