Up for auction is this hand split RED ELM bow stave. It is 72 inches long, 1 1/4 to 1 3/4 inches high, and 1 to 1 1/2 inches wide
. It is straight and has no twist. The growth rings are wide. I see no knots on the back. It was cut (live tree) 6-2021. The ends and back are sealed with polyurethane.
