Rare Vintage Ukelin Violin Zither

Unusual hard to find primitive antique 1920s or 1930s Ukelin Ukulin wood string instrument also known as a Bowed Psaltery. This piece is actually two instruments in one. It is a cross between the Hawaiian ukulele and the violin but closer to a zither and violin. The case is made of maple wood with decorative and numbered transfer decals. Measures approximately 1 1/2" x 7 1/2" x 27 1/2" This a two-hole bowed psaltery with 16 strings. The ukelin would be placed on a table while was played simultaneously on one end with a bow while strummed or plucked on the other end. There are flaws to the condition of this piece. One end has a crack and warped edge with minor chipping or wear along edges in places, oxidation to the metal pieces. The bow has some strings that have come loose. Being sold in estate found condition.
