    Main Sail
    Almost indistinguishable from new
Nearly New biradials designed by guru Sandy Goodall

Sails is a quiet force in the global sail industry. Our loft is the 4th largest sail loft in the world.
Our design and production facilities in Shenzen, China, are state-of-the-art.
We make sails for other sail makers that I cannot name but that you would know. They just put their labels on our sails.
You are in essence buying from the loft at Far East prices and bypassing North American management and marketing costs.
We use only the best materials and hardware imported from Europe and the USA. We do not substitute: you get what you are quoted.

These sails were made for a club that, as it turned out, did not want full-sized main sails for their Soling fleet but rather reduced-sized mains that would be easy for senior and youth members of the club to handle without ducking the boom.
In one of the photos, you can see a couple of these sails in action last season.
The bi-radial design offers the shape-holding advantages of a tri-radial design but with more control over draft position. That is why they are popular in many one-design classes.
We took these back and made the smaller sails they wanted. In the meantime, ten of the fifteen I am offering on Ebay were used for one season -- perhaps 20 two-hour outings or thereabouts. Those sails are in this listing. The five sails that were not used -- in another listing -- were stored in a dusty area and so may appear a bit dirty on some edges or corners. These used ones are, in fact, in excellent condition and very hard to tell from the unused ones but for the somewhat faded tell-tales!
The Club had 15 boats and the sails are so numbered: that is, the sail shown in the photos was for boat 15. If you would like a specific number between one and fifteen, inclusive, please let me know and I will see if it is still available.
*With the battens sewn in, the sails cannot be rolled and folded to fully fit in the bags!
