Offered from a Newport Rhode Island estate is a lovely antique HOPF full size Violin
Body 14" Full Length 23"
Tiger Maple Back
Marked HOPF back and inside
This estate piece has some wear and missing pieces (no chin rest, no bridge)
The back is not attached at the bottom to the rib? (side or vertical piece) for about 5" at the very end of the sound box, unglued
PLEASE view the photos for wear and damage, this is an estate piece and has not been owned nor played by me
Bow is 29" long and has no markings
Case has marks on snap closures: Worcester T&S Rochdale MASS
