Furnished Complete with accessories and plastic carrying case
The Dwyer Durablock series 100 portable pressure gauge with a plastic carrying case is a solid plastic portable manometer kit, and has a polished aluminum scale, a vertical or inclined drilled bore, magnetic clips, and measures pressure with a single scale in inches of water column (WC) with an accuracy of + or - 1% or 2%. The gauge is made of 1" thick solid transparent acrylic plastic for clarity and durability. The vertical drilled bore is free of bends or crooks, eliminating the need for recalibration because of distortion. The inclined model has a thumbscrew to provide rapid and accurate leveling with reference to the integral ground glass bubble level. The gauge is filled with gage oil with high wettability characteristics to form a consistent, well-shaped meniscus for easy readability, and it comes with a bottle of replacement 0.826 red gage fluid. The polished aluminum scale reflects the meniscus for parallax-free reading of measurements, and accuracy is + or - 1% or 2% of full scale. Two magnetic clips allow rapid positioning of the gauge on any vertical iron or steel surface for hands-free use. Two rapid shut-off nylon tubing connections, a 9 ft. length of rubber tubing, and a terminal tube allow accurate measurements in turbulent flow conditions, such as in cooling ducts. This gauge is suitable for testing for air flow volume when installing and servicing residential and small central air conditioning systems. This gauge is suitable for determining the volume of air flowing through ventilating, heating, refrigeration, and air filter systems.
Pressure gauges are instruments used to measure the pressure of a gas or liquid inside a vessel and, often, to help ensure the optimal amount of pressure for a given application. Pressure gauges can range from everyday instruments, such as those used to measure the air pressure in a car or bicycle tire, to highly accurate gauges used in mechanical and industrial processing. Most often, pressure gauges measure pressure relative to another reference. For instance, gauge pressure measures pressure relative to ambient air. An example of a pressure gauge measuring relative to ambient air is a tire pressure gauge or a blood pressure gauge. Differential pressure is the difference in pressure between two points, such as when measuring liquid flow along various points in a pipeline. An absolute pressure gauge measures pressure relative to a perfect vacuum, such as an atmospheric or barometric pressure gauge. All types of pressure gauges include either a male or a female mount to connect to the vessel where pressure is being measured, and display results on a dial with varying increments of measure across a given range.
Dwyer Instruments manufactures measurement and control instruments, including pressure gauges, flow meters, level instrumentation, temperature instrumentation, and air quality monitors. The company, founded in 1931, is headquartered in Michigan City, IN
