    Description

    This is an antique violin. Interior label reads "Laurentius Storioni, fecit Cremona 1782". (I believe the last two number are "82", it is a little difficult to read.). I am NOT an expert on violins, so please study the photographs, and ask questions before bidding. Instrument is approximately 24" long. It is missing some parts, and is not "ready to play". There appears to be an old repair to the back of the neck where it meets the body. There is a slight gouge to the body below one of the sound holes, and a faint short crack below the other. An old battered case and bow are included.
