    Description

The violin bears a printed label which reads, "Ernst Heinrich Roth Markneukirchen 1927 reproduction of Antonius Stradivarius Cremona 1718 Germany."  Ernst Heinrich Roth Markneukirchen B210 has been branded into the back above the label.
The violin has a one piece maple back, which is cut on the quarter, with narrow flame which slants upward from the left to right.  The ribs and scroll match the back.  The two piece spruce top has narrow grain which widens toward the flanks.  The instrument is covered with an orange-brown varnish that has been antiqued by the maker to reveal a pale ground.  It is in very good condition.  Will need new strings and bridge adjustment.  Will ship with the bridge packed separately.  Signature required for delivery.
