boulder opal bracelet with all sterling silver findings including toggle clasp. The focal stone is 28 mm x 13 mm and has a nice red flash. The other stones have blue coloration and one of them has
bright blue fire (see photos). Total weight 127 carats. The interstitial stones are natural zircons. The bracelet has an adjustable length, 8-9 inches.
For years I have been fascinated by the elusive beauty of boulder opals. The tiny neon-bright fire hidden amongst the ironstone is mesmerizing. I have taken photos of this opal at different angles under a daylight bulb.
Experienced buyers know that the appearance of an opal can vary tremendously depending on the lighting and the angle in which the opal is viewed. Opals are always at their best in sunlight. While no camera can catch the dazzle of an opal in the sun, taking the photo under a daylight bulb gives the best approximation.
The photo is an honest representation of the actual appearance of the opal in sunlight. The white spots in the opals area reflection of the light, not a part of the opal. To appreciate the true beauty of your opal, examine it in the sunlight.
